Mombasa Port Sacco Society limited , a licensed Deposit Taking Sacco in Kenya invites individuals who possess a passion of excellence, strong work ethics, are results-oriented and committed to continual improvement to apply for the positions of MARKETING EXECUTIVES on a One-year Contract renewable for a further two years based on performance, to serve in our Mombasa and Nairobi offices.

Position Summary:

1. To help in the implementation of marketing strategies aligned with organization strategic goals. Job holder will be reporting to the Business Development Manager.
2. Job Responsibilities for Marketing Executives:
3. Recruiting Sacco members as per set targets.
4. Selling Sacco products
5. Collecting members feedback
6. Identify markets and develop ways of entry into the markets
7. Assist in loan tracking repayment and collections.
8. Give sales presentations to clients
9. Organize sales visits
10. Prospect for new business.
11. Collection of competitor’s intelligences and reporting the same to the Business Development Manager
12. Preparation of weekly and monthly business reports.
13. Member education including passing -Sacco information to the customers on any new products/policies that may be implemented.
14. Ensure member retention strategies are implemented.
15. Track and report on the turn around time for various products and services.
16. Performs any other duty assigned from time to time

Necessary Qualifications and Skills:

Qualifications:

1. A diploma in Marketing or business-related Degree.
2. KCSE Mean Grade of C and Above.
3. Diploma in Co-operative management will be an added advantage.
4. Knowledge of Navision ERP or Similar ERP solution for saccos will be an added advantage.

Skills and Desired Qualities:

1. Good knowledge of the market and the Society’s products and services
2. Excellent communication skills- strong written & oral skills
3. Negotiation and selling skills.
4. Good people, interpersonal and networking skills.
5. Excellent problem solving and analytical ability in cross functional and multi-cultural environment.
6. Sales prospecting, deals closing skills and professionalism.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years relevant experience
